Let’s paint the colors of fall together!
Celebrate the beauty of the fall season with this beginner-friendly watercolor workshop where we’ll paint colorful autumn leaves, pumpkins and mushrooms. Even if you’re new to watercolor, this class will guide you step-by-step through techniques including washes, blending, layering and texture. Drawing inspiration from collected leaves and reference photos we will create simple shapes, add vibrant autumn colors and finish with fun pattern detail using paint pens, colored pencils and inks. The emphasis will be on having fun, even if you have never painted with watercolors before.
Materials (paper, paints, brushes, palette, and drawing tools) will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own favorite supplies.
No prior experience necessary. This is a great class for beginners and for more experienced artists who are interested in learning a new technique.
