A color or a state of mind
A New Juried Exhibition Featuring Works in Blue

Blue is reminiscent of the summer season. It represents the tranquility of the sea, the vast open horizons of the sky and the still hours before dawn. Blue often symbolizes both serenity and stability, sadness and longing and the depths of human emotion. Blue is a complicated color of polarities. This exhibition of visual works also includes a related event where local poets or lovers of poetry, are invited to read works that describe the color blue.

And so I fell in love with a color—in this case, the color blue—as if falling under a spell.
