In a village where people have lost the ability to dream, an old man with a magic hat dreams for the whole village and teaches a little boy how to be his successor. Gene Hamm's animated fairy tale features the voice of Julie (Catwoman) Newmar and 17 original songs. The Dream Hat took two years to complete. It's a story in the tradition of Alice in Wonderland, The Point or The Phantom Tollbooth.
Hell Toupee, Gene's other 77 minute feature, is currently streaming on TubiTV, SmashTV and Fawsome. Before moving to the North Bay, Hamm worked on several animated films and TV series in Hollywood including Lord of the Rings, Smurfs, Superfriends, Gumby and Liquid Television.
