The Petaluma Arts Center (PAC) is excited to kick off its "Create Our Future" campaign, with the goal of raising $300,000 by the end of 2025. This vital initiative will help support PAC’s mission to: expand capacity through leadership and partnerships, engage with more underserved youth and elders, create more platforms for artists, increase our open hours and attract more visitors to Petaluma who appreciate our community’s creative diversity. Why Give to the Petaluma Arts Center?
The people of Petaluma have helped our arts center become the community gem it is today. Funded primarily by donations, memberships, and business sponsorships, the Center is a reflection of this community’s creativity and passionate commitment to service. 500+ members and over 30 volunteers support our two part-time staff to accomplish PAC’s operations and strategic goals. Your generous gift not only supports operating expenses, it helps fund exhibitions, educational programs and events that benefit the entire community.
Planned Giving
If you are passionate about community arts, you might consider including us in your estate plans. We would be honored and most grateful to be part of your life’s legacy. You may also explore with your tax specialist and attorney the donation of securities to PAC.
Another way to make an impactful and lasting contribution to the arts is by donating stock, bonds, or mutual fund shares. Besides being tax deductible, they’re exempt from capital gains tax on the appreciation. Also, you may know that an IRA Charitable Rollover is a tax-free contribution (up to $100,000) for those over 70-1/2. Either of these options can be done easily with the help of your broker or advisor.
