Join local playwright David Templeton for a reading of one of his newest works,All in Favor, in which a group of high school students race to complete a Bicentennial tile mosaic portraying the signing of the Declaration of Independence, only to face chaos when their leader drops out and a conflict-averse newcomer joins. As a school board funding freeze forces them to make the artwork “more American”, the students must navigate artistic freedom, personal clashes, and philosophical debates about independence to finish their masterpiece on time. This will be a table reading of the first act.
