In our North Gallery, photographer Arthur Drooker presents selections from Thirty-Six Views of the Golden Gate Bridge, a photographic series inspired by the celebrated 19th-century Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai and his iconic series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji. Nearly two centuries later, Drooker undertakes a similar artistic exploration, turning his lens toward Golden Gate Bridge—the defining landmark of San Francisco.
