Introduction:
Always wanted to try watercolor painting but feel intimidated? This class will change that. Join me for a fun-filled foray into the world of whimsical botanicals and butterflies. Painting in a free and joyful style, we’ll use simple shapes and lush colors, finishing out with pattern embellishments. The style will be relaxed and playful, with demonstrations on watercolor techniques including washes, blending, layering and texture. This is a great class for beginners and more experienced artists who are interested in learning a new technique. No prior experience necessary.  Materials including watercolor papers, paints, mixing palette, and drawing tools will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own favorite supplies.
