This juried exhibition gathers visual works that explore the layered meanings of blue. Through painting, photography, collage, and mixed media, artists delve into the emotional and symbolic range of this multifaceted hue.

About the Jurors
Lori Austin
Lori Austin is a gallerist and entrepreneur with close to 30 years of experience operating retail galleries in northern and southern California. She was VP of Sales & Marketing for Spirits in Stone from 1991 until 2010 and then Managing Director of Terra Firma Gallery from 2010 until the Fall of 2018. Lori and her husband founded Lori Austin Gallery in October 2018. Lori is passionate about curating and promoting contemporary American and African art as well as fine artisan jewelry.
Vicky Kumpfer
Vicky Kumpfer has worked in civic arts with the City of Santa Rosa along with a broad range of non-profit organizations. She has curated art exhibitions independently and specializes in coordinating large and small art events. She has promoted and supported the visual arts in Sonoma County with advocacy, outreach and partnerships. Vicky currently serves on the Exhibitions Committee of Petaluma Arts Center.
